MEET YOUR HOSTS

Hosted by artists and friends of Glen Dye, Steve Chapman and Jo Wood, this broadcast will champion the sounds of our glen: its nature, its culture and its people. We'll also hear from other far flung, remote and beautiful locations from the Scottish Highlands and Islands to the antipodes. Expect captivating interviews, great music, wild sounds, food, folklore, poetry and craft. Dip in, dip out. Listen to it all. Let Glen Dye be the soundtrack to your solstice, wherever you are.

STEVE CHAPMAN Steve is an artist, writer and speaker interested in creativity and the human condition. He has sold his work across all 7 continents and exhibited alongside the likes of Pablo Picasso and David Shrigley. Steve has been our Artist in Residence at The Good Life Society and Glen Dye since 2019. His work has been featured in many group shows alongside a number of successful solo exhibitions. It has been described as “art which captures so well how weird and imperfect the world is.” His book What the February?! 108 creative challenges for human beings was released in May 2023. FOLLOW STEVE JO WOOD Jo is an artist fascinated by people and other creatures. She is currently artist in residence at Applecart Arts in London and has previously held residencies at Camp Good Life in Harwarden, Glen Dye in Scotland and on the remote island of Ocracoke off the coast of North Carolina. She loves making things from observations and conversations. The particular focus of this right now is her gallery of conversations, which is a virtual gallery on her website and will also be featured in her first solo exhibition which will be taking place in early July, in East London.
